Technical Supervisor

Our Technical Supervisor ensure the reliability of process machinery, ensuring compliance with preventive maintenance, reducing maintenance stops, reduction of repair times, reduction of times between failures, in order to guarantee maximum efficiency per line, designing and updating action plans for the most recurrent failures in the production floor managing compliance with predictive maintenance. Coordinate and provide the necessary resources to the maintenance staff to carry out their respective tasks.

 

Major Areas of Accountability:

  • Recruit, supervise and train technicians’ coordinators and production support technician
  • Gather and analyze data and make recommendations on improvements to technical methods, machine availability, and technical maintenance.
  • Escalates issues to management and recommends solutions.
  • Assurance of the preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance execution in all production floor
  • Reduction of unplanned losses in machine availability.
  • Manage your process non-conformities, lead the root cause analysis, assign action plan responsibilities, and ensure timely closure of actions to eliminate the root cause
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
  • Prepare and present technical reports to management
  • Coordinate with other departments to align technical solutions with business objectives Partner with Production Supervisors and O&D on trouble shooting equipment/process issues.
  • Develop, lead and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs on the production floor
  • Manage the crew of Technicians coordinators together with the team of production support technicians, ensuring good performance, development and motivation.
  • Implement continuous improvements in maintenance processes and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Escalates issues to management and recommends solutions.
  • Any additional tasks requested by the direct leader


Essential Qualifications:

  • University degree in Industrial Maintenance / Electromechanics or equivalent
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in similar positions in maintenance operations management.
  • Minimum English level: B1
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in leadership roles.
  • Solid knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance, team management and continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of technical processes and methodologies.
  • Solid knowledge in MS Office package.
  • Work experience in FDA or regulated industry.


Preferred qualifications

  • Experience improving manufacturing operations using Lean and Six Sigma techniques. Certification on Lean or Six Sigma
  • Experience working with inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI.
  • English Level B2
