About the department

Global IT delivers IT assistance to Coloplast Colleagues globally. We are IT professionals responsible for:

  • 1st level and some 2nd level support,
  • monitoring, troubleshooting and solving alerts coming from IT infrastructure 24/7,
  • administration of users in global systems,
  • purchase of IT equipment, accessories and software,
  • network (WAN, LAN, WI-FI),
  • unified communications solutions (Avaya, MS Teams, faxes),
  • ERP, CRM, SharePoint, Basware & Alusta.

 

About the team

You will join team of fantastic 6 people working remotely with designated watch to cover all time zones. Working closely with our architects you will not only be responsible for the implementation of new policies, standards, and programs, but also investigating security incidents as a part of Security Incident Response Process.

 

About the job

Security Center Operations Specialist will actively participate in the daily coordination and remediation of all security incidents in the organization. With proper monitoring tools, you will be responsible for the forensic part and reporting security events. You will be responsible for performing analysis of the security events, breaches, and vulnerabilities, as well as you will be part of the incident response team, actively responding to the threats.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Monitoring, investigating, and reporting of security related events
  • Performing analysis and investigation of the security events
  • Preparing and introducing response for the security incidents
  • Assessing on the security of new applications and programs prior to installation or upgrades together with Information Security Team
  • Monitoring and responding to alerts within the information technology infrastructure
  • Ensuring that end-users adhere to Information Technology policies, standards, and best practices
  • Supporting Coloplast in meeting all security standards for internal or external audits
  • Performing daily audits of firewall(s), log management, intrusion detection systems, and content filtering controls
  • Participating in various tasks, projects, internal and external audits
  • Providing quick updates of security incidents to the Operations management team as well as Major Incident Manager and Information Security Manager (where applicable)
  • Shaping the processes around security and incident response

 

Requirements 

  • Knowledge and experience in IT security are required
  • Strong English skills, written and spoken
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Information Science will be an advantage
  • Experience in one or two of following:
    • EDR
    • IDS
    • IPS
    • Vulnerability management
    • SIEM
    • Forensic
  • Knowledge of Windows systems
  • Knowledge of network and routing protocols
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Cisco technologies
  • Ability to clearly define problems, collect data, establish facts, and bring conclusions
  • Strong and independent
  • Structured and systematic
