Job function summary

The Ramp Up Team Leader oversees local Ramp Up projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet performance targets such as OEE and scrap levels. They coordinate with teams, manage resources, track progress, and provide updates to stakeholders. This role involves ensuring a smooth handover of machines to production, aligning with best practices, and managing costs and improvements. Through effective leadership, the Team Leader ensures project success and drives process enhancements.

Major areas of accountability

  • Monitor and follow up on machine performance during the Ramp Up process.
  • Ensure proper execution of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for technical and process issues.
  • Verify and confirm process parameters.
  • Escalate complex problems to machine builders or specialized suppliers as needed.
  • Coordinate issue escalation with the product support team.
  • Approve procedures for machine adjustments, troubleshooting, and lessons learned.
  • Oversee and communicate Flash Reports, Curve Learning, and Hand Over Reports.
  • Lead troubleshooting and manage crisis situations to realign the transfer process as required.
  • Collaborate with the Local Transfer team to ensure availability of components, resources, tools, and equipment, adhering to transfer plan deadlines.
  • Manage risk analysis and reporting, define mitigation actions, and monitor their implementation.
  • Oversee the approval process for Curve Learning and Hand Over agreements.
  • Ensure the effective training of the operational technical team during the Ramp Up process.
  • Anticipate resource requirements and manage them efficiently to achieve objectives.
  • Guarantee timely, on-budget, and scope-compliant project delivery.
  • Review and approve weekly performance reports, including OEE and scrap metrics.
  • Ensure the availability of all required raw materials and packaging materials for machine operations.
  • Perform duties in full compliance with organizational guidelines.
  • Notify the manager of any difficulties in understanding or implementing guidelines.
  • Highlight inefficiencies in the system and suggest improvements.
  • Take responsibility for safety aspects specific to the position.

  • Ensure that employees receive adequate training
  • Ensure awareness of the Quality and Sustainability EHS policy
  • Ensure awareness of their contribution to the effectiveness of the EHS system and the environmental performance
  • Ensure awareness of implications for not conforming with EHS requirements
  • Ensure good conditions related to EHS and prevent occupational injuries/diseases as well as environmental incidents.
  • Perform your job in accordance with given guidelines.
  • Notify manager of any difficulty understanding or following guidelines.
  • Notify about the inefficiency of the System.
  • Assume responsibility for safety aspects identified for the given position.
  • Support positive EHS culture.

Essential qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with scientific background: Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial, or relevant experience
  • Have 3-5 years of work experience in project management and related positions.
  • Strong familiarity with preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance in automated equipment, electromechanical engineering software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Shown Microsoft Project knowledge.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral in English Level B2 
  • Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. 
  • More than 3 years of experience in the industrial manufacturing process.
  • Knowledge of Medical Industry machinery and production processes.
  • Knowledge of machine transfers oversea.
  • Experience in regulated industries.

Prefer qualifications

  • 3 years’ experience of handling projects. 
  • 2 -3 years’ experience in industrial machines installation, design and validation.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • English Level C1.
