Internship Role Description – Ramp Up Engineering Support

The selected intern will be an integral part of the Ramp Up team, a specialized engineering group responsible for designing, analyzing, transferring, installing, adjusting, and starting up new equipment across various manufacturing areas within the medical device industry.

This internship offers exposure to real-world engineering challenges and collaborative projects across multiple technical domains. The candidate will gain valuable experience working alongside engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced industrial environment.

 

Key Activities and Areas of Involvement:

  • Participates in the follow-up of engineering activities related to machine projects and complementary initiatives.
  • Assists in coordinating facility-related installation activities with external suppliers.
  • Supports validation efforts alongside senior engineers and validation specialists.
  • Helps coordinate and attend cross-functional meetings for machine and process planning.
  • Collaborates with technical teams in the review and discussion of mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical troubleshooting.
  • Contributes to the creation and update of process flow diagrams and technical documentation.
  • Assists Ramp Up Engineers and Technicians in daily tasks related to equipment implementation and startup.
  • Reviews and interprets technical documentation in English, including machine drawings, manuals, and wiring schematics.

Essential Requirements:

  • Active university student in Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, Electromechanics, or final-year Industrial Engineering.
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (B2–C1 preferred).
  • Basic to intermediate Excel proficiency (data management, charts, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents in English.
  • Strong interest in manufacturing, process engineering, and industrial systems.
