Welcome to Zhuhai – and our business support function
Joining our site in the lush surroundings of Zhuhai, China you become part of a vibrant production environment counting approx. 900 people, of which approx. 110 are white-collar. 


Here, you will lead and manage our business support function with 19 dedicated colleagues. The function is divided into teams, and you will have 6 direct reports and 1 indirect. Moreover, you will of course become part of our local management team, where you will function as an important sounding board to our GM.

Set a clear direction for your department
You will be responsible for our Finance, Customs Clearance and Shipping, IT, and IT&OT teams – as well as Compliance through a dotted line. Ensuring that we meet our obligations within these major areas and developing and managing your employees, you are the lighthouse that everyone steers by.


More specifically, you will become responsible for: 

  • Managing your team and ensuring their development and training
  • Finance, Customs Clearance, Shipping, IT, IT&OT and Compliance budget at site-level
  • KPIs definitions, projects and other target settings as well as review and approval for Business Support
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, local customs standards as well as laws and regulations in terms of Finance, Customs Clearance, Shipping, IT and IT&OT
  • Handling audits and reporting

Experienced people manager with a firm grasp on accounting
You are known for your natural authority and innate ability to motivate and guide those around you. What is more, you have great interpersonal skills, and your natural curiosity enables you to navigate different cultures with ease. Your team player mentality ensures that you are always ready to support your colleagues, you master the art of stakeholder management, and you are ready to become a sounding board to our GM.


Furthermore, you:

  • Are an experienced people manager 
  • Have a relevant degree in finance or similar
  • Have solid experience with accounting, reporting and auditing from a similar role – experience working with compliance is a plus
  • Are analytical and organised
  • Have excellent presentation skills and are ready to present numbers to the management team
  • Speak and write English fluently
