Territory Manager Interventional Urology

As a Territory Manager you will be responsable for market share growth and turnover increase of the Interventional Urology products of Coloplast in East-Flanders.
Responsabilities
Generation of sales through creation of preference of Coloplast products in the short and long term
Drive sales & market share by: building relationships with Hospital DMU members (medical professionals: doctors, nurses, pharmacists, purchases) on high level sales skills, product and procedure knowledge and support of urologists and gynecologists in OR during procedures.
The Territory Manager is the primary point of contact for (potential) customers and stakeholders within the territory and also has a responsible role towards internal and external customers/stakeholders.
Sales:
- Achieves sales targets set by engaging all selected target hospitals/customers as well as by developing and implementing a clear Account Specific Action Plan to reach territory sales targets;
- Translates customer questions, needs and problems into concrete solutions for the customer;
- Ensures quarterly progress of the sales process, in which all target hospitals achieve the minimum annual contact requirements; with compliance on Segmentation & Targeting plan
Product- and market knowledge:
- Create partnership with urologists, gynaecologist, OR nurses, purchasers & pharmacists and support the medical professionals in OR when using our products (Invite them if relevant for International workshops, conference etc, Organize local education sessions etc).
- Continues to keep abreast of market developments and current events in the area of Coloplast product and service package so that commercial opportunities are utilized;
- Has and demonstrates clear knowledge of Interventional urology products in the clinical/technical and practical field on the basis of which collaborations can be created with medical professionals and important decision-makers so that a preference for Coloplast products and services can be created;
- Develop high level knowledge of product features and OR procedures
- Is well aware of the activities and product assortment of the competitor and knows how to respond adequately;
- Is well aware of our business model and HIC reimbursement procedures.
- Expected traveling days: Expected to stay away for regional targeting, (inter)national sales meetings
- Shares relevant market / competitor information with direct colleagues within the Sales / Marketing departments and with other interested parties within the organization and actively participates in the brand strategy roll-out and proposition towards the health care professionals;
- Develops and maintains professional partnerships inside- (Sales/Marketing/ Customer Service / Payers & Trade department) and outside the organization to share knowledge and promote synergy
Territory planning and execution of account plan:
- Manages the territory by analyzing data and by mapping the opportunities and threats of the internal (Coloplast) and external market;
- Keeps track of competitor products, position and activities in the sales region
- Writes yearly a workable territory plan with SMART activity planning and executes on it;
- Reports monthly to the Regional Sales Manager BeNeLux about the progress and realization of the territory plan, the developments and priorities;
- Reports adequately and daily in the CRM system;
- Builds and maintains (long-term) contacts and visits medical professionals/other relevant stakeholders based on the Segmentation & Targeting plan;
Contract Management:
- Responsible for contract management within territory, including periodical evaluations with buyers and other relevant stakeholders.
- In consultation with relevant internal; stakeholders and Regional Sales Manager BeNeLux, draws up contracts for existing and potential contract hospitals that include discount agreements (in relation to volume use of products);
- Monitors the expiry date of contracts and takes action to ensure that all contracts arrive in a timely and accurate manner;
- Gains insights in competitor contract and price position and expiry date and develops tactical plan to win contract position together with Sales Marketing manager;
Profile
- Minimal Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a sales position within medical devices, pharma and / or an industry affiliated to the medical sector
- Medical/paramedical background is an asset
- Dutch is native language and good knowledge of English language
- French is a plus
- Driving license and proficiency in Microsoft office & in PowerBi and CRM system (SalesForce.com) is an asset
