 Commercial Excellence Manager

As the Commercial Excellence Manager you will be responsible for improving & driving our commercial processes, strengthening the performance culture and supporting systems in Coloplast. The main task is to provide operational support through targeted analyses and professional information as agreed upon and in close collaboration with the Head of Commercial Excellence Benelux. The Commercial Excellence Manager Benelux reports directly to the Head of Commercial Excellence Benelux.

 

Key Responsibilities

To drive the commercial excellence process, your job functions will primarily consist of the following:

  • Acting as trusted advisor to the commercial teams and management by providing business and sales insights.
  • Develops and regularly delivers performance reports including sales analysis, marketing and product launches tracking; consumer sales performance, segmentation & targeting KPI & growth drivers
  • Supporting the Annual Business Planning process and the Monthly Business Review process, as well as supporting budget, forecasting planning.
  • Takes care of solid and timely management reporting
  • Signals data trends and actively brings them to the attention
  • Developing and maintaining governance for use of the CRM system and ensuring alignment with other relevant commercial processes.
  • Driving continuous improvement of sales process, sales capabilities and tools and supporting systems.
  • Supports and track the development of the sales/marketing/consumer targets

 

Who are we looking for?

The right candidate for the position of Commercial Excellence Manager, should possess all or most of the following qualifications:

  • Hold a master’s degree within economics, econometrics, applied mathematics, business administration or other relevant study. 
  • 2-3 years of experience in management consulting or a business analytical role supporting commercial functions (sales, marketing, business development)
  • Have experience with Management communication to transform business matters in clear, synthetic and professional presentations
  • Have experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce.com) and be able to translate commercial processes into system requirements.
  • Be a super user of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and have experience from working with business intelligence front ends (e.g. Power Bi)
  • Be fluent oral and written in Dutch, French and English.

To be successful you need to have strong analytical skills and a healthy appetite for solving complex business issues. You need to work and create results independently delivering solid business insights, perspectives, and recommendations. You will also need to have or develop a flair for succinct communication to facilitate business understanding and decision-making. We are looking for a team player with a strong analytical toolbox and commercial understanding that can challenge our team to deliver business impact.
