Position Overview

As an Associate Interventional Urology Laser Specialist, you will be an integral part of our dedicated team working in the Interventional Urology sector. This field-based role entails enhancing awareness and sales of our cutting-edge Laser product. Be prepared to travel nationally to engage with healthcare stakeholders.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders in hospitals, establishing yourself as a trusted expert in Urology laser technology
  • Drive sales growth by comprehending customer requirements, leading pricing discussions, and conducting training sessions to ensure safe and effective product utilization
  • Collaborate with relevant Coloplast colleagues, such as the marketing and commercial excellence teams, to develop commercial solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Partner with field-based sales teams and Business Unit Leads to provide superior offerings to our valued customers
  • Develop and execute business plans aimed at achieving ambitious growth targets
  • Analyse the Endo and BPH markets to propose effective pricing, customer segmentation, and targeting strategies
  • Champion the Laser product, both internally and externally, through education and awareness initiatives
  • Offer technical support during product demonstrations, testing, and post-purchase implementation
  • Ensure proper installation, maintenance, and follow-up, providing exceptional service to all stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records of the sales process within the CRM system and share relevant documentation with Coloplast colleagues
  • Assist in onboarding new sales team members, promoting laser sales across different regions

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Possess a degree in Business, Science, or a relevant technical field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in medical capital equipment sales, with a potential advantage if you've served as a product manager for interventional urology lasers
  • Proven success in selling to both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, whether in Theatre or other settings
  • In-depth understanding of the operations of public hospitals, referral centres, clinics, and private healthcare groups
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English
  • Ability to establish strong interpersonal connections and build lasting relationships
