The Role: 

The Field Sales Trainer position is a dynamic and collaborative role that involves working closely with Territory Managers, Regional Sales Managers, and the Sales Development Manager to improve the execution of our sales process. Your core role will include developing educational materials, in-field coaching, tracking progress post-training, and suggesting further areas for improvement. You will provide hands-on coaching in field to Territory Managers, developing their sales skills and documenting feedback through our digital platform. 

 

Your Responsibilities:

Working with the National Sales Development Manager and Regional Sales Managers:

  • Evaluate Territory Managers sales skills in field, identify knowledge or skill gaps, and provide feedback to the individual and manager 
  • Determine training needs in collaboration with Sales Managers through analysis of KPIs and performance results
  • Create learning objectives and monitor progress 
  • Develop comprehensive training content and materials 
  • Conduct training sessions for the sales team and collect feedback 
  • Evaluate training program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
  • Research latest market trends and demands within the corporate sales landscape to ensure training relevance and competitiveness

 

To Succeed: 

  • Ability to travel across Australia and New Zealand to provide in field training 
  • Experience in the field with a solid understanding of sales processes and industry practices
  • Exhibits a strong drive and passion for sales, motivating others to achieve sales goals
  • A student-centric mentality 
  • Ability to build strong relationships with Territory Managers, providing effective support and guidance
  • Exhibits a positive and encouraging attitude 
  • Shows flexibility in approach and the ability to adapt
