Want to manage a group of experienced project managers developing machines for manufacturing of new products that enable Coloplast to improve lives for people with intimate health care needs?

Take up this newly established role where you can focus on people management and development while being part of an international and creative innovation environment.

“You will lead a very experienced team, who is one of the key players in innovation projects, and become a vital contribution to Coloplast’s growth ambition,” says Senior Director, Global Commissioning, Chi Nguyen.

Join Coloplast and our Global Commissioning team
Global Commissioning is responsible for machine commissioning projects with a yearly CAPEX of 500 MDKK. At the Coloplast HQ, you will head the Danish team of 13 senior and non-senior project managers and one principal specialist, supporting new product launches.

As part of the commissioning leadership team, you will collaborate closely with Chi and your counterpart in Hungary, who leads a support team and project leaders commissioning production equipment for an increased demand of existing products.

Manage and develop an experienced team

“Some of your team members have worked here for 20+ years, so there’s a good foundation, but you will also have the autonomy to take things in a new direction and bring the team to the next level,” says Chi.

Your main tasks will be to:

  • Engage, motivate and develop your employees
  • Ensure the right prioritisation and allocation of resources
  • Be responsible for the team budget
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered within agreed time, scope, budget and quality
  • Collaborate with the 3 portfolio managers and Head of Commissioning SVS and share knowledge about projects and technical challenges
  • Work with the commissioning leadership team to implement leadership activities such as competence development

Even though your team is based in Denmark, your role entails remote management as the project managers are often out of office, visiting suppliers and production sites abroad. Likewise, you can expect to travel approx. 20 days a year yourself, primarily to visit our manufacturing sites in Hungary, suppliers and to some degree, our manufacturing site in Costa Rica.

You know how to lead experienced PMs

  • You have good experience managing senior and non-senior project managers
  • You are not afraid to implement change and know how to bring people onboard
  • You communicate effortlessly in English
  • You have experience within automation and running technical projects.
