About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Continence Nurse/Clinical Educator with relevant clinical skills who has the passion, drive and commitment to develop and deliver bladder and bowel care on behalf of Coloplast to our health care professionals and end-users in New Zealand.
You will be self-motivated, comfortable working as an independent practitioner and have a winning mindset. You will be a strategic thinker who also wants to build on your commercial awareness and skill.
Your role will involve a large teaching element to share best practice evidenced based bladder and bowel care with HCPs at key hospitals and organisations and you will be proud to be part of a wider professional Nursing team.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders by supporting their understanding of intermittent catheterisation and trans-anal-irrigation
- Plan, facilitate and evaluate the delivery of continence education modules within hospitals and community facilities
- Interact with patient organisations to educate and recommend new product /therapy solutions
- Train patients on the use of Coloplast products – either directly or through advising other HCPs
- Establish and nurture industry networks and relationships to expand market awareness of Coloplast’s clinical services
- Deliver professional and ethical care to patients in a face-to-face or virtual clinic setting
- Monitor client usage and effectiveness, make recommendations for optimisation
To succeed:
- Current Registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand
- Specialist knowledge in bowel and bladder care or willingness to learn
- 5+ years’ experience in a clinical setting working with patients and/or end users
- Some domestic travel required (20%-30% annually)
