About the Role:
Responsible for developing, driving and executing Coloplast’s market access strategy for the PL market as well as for delivering a compelling and commercially astute value proposition to the marketplace. He/she will be influencing internal and external stakeholders to ensure that Coloplast is the recognised partner of choice with NHF opinion leaders. The person coming in will be a member of the Coloplast Management Team responsible for setting the overall strategic direction for the PL.
Responsibilities:
- Execution of the PL payer strategy ensuring an optimum environment for prescribing Coloplast products
- Management of the relationships with the NHF partners and local health districts, incl. the development of innovative solutions that are aimed at improving the benefits of all involved parties, i.e. the patients, health authorities as well as Coloplast
- Anticipating and understanding changes in the market place as well as in reimbursement guidelines, communicating them to the organization and interpreting them to the commercial benefit of Coloplast
- Set up reimbursement process for new products and project plan for establishing new reimbursement categories
- Development and proposal of a pricing strategy for the PL relative to the market value of products and services
- Development of strong relationships with authorities, external/professional bodies and key opinion leaders ensuring that Coloplast is actively involved in industry change
- Building partnerships and mobilize the stakeholders
- Demonstration of added value of Coloplast products
- Mobilization of patients and Healthcare Professionals by running campaigns on patient rights
- Acting as a liaison between the Payers and Trade team and other functions in the organization, incl. sales, marketing, customer service, logistics and commercial groups in order to ensure a One Company mindset locally and globally
Requirements:
- Economic background (health or commercial)
- Min. 5 years of experience from MA / PA (Health)
- English – very good written and spoken
- The ability to work independently on assigned tasks and set one's own priorities
- Experience in working in or with NHF stakeholders / negotiation with the payers
- Understanding of the changing healthcare landscape in the PL, including changes in the regulatory environment, market access and reimbursement topics
- Strong business acumen and judgement in the evaluation of business opportunities combined with a strong appreciation of financial management
- Good feeling for the market and strong customer orientation
- Strategic thinking skills combined with strong analytical and conceptual capabilities
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Strong relationship building and management skills (ability to interact with clients, external stakeholders and internal colleagues on all levels of an organization)
