Do you want to take on responsibility for our ACH cluster, becoming an integral part of one of the most successful companies in the med-tech industry with more than 12,000 employees worldwide, operating in 42 countries?


We are looking for a Sales Manager taking on responsibility for two European markets: Austria and Switzerland. In this role, you will provide leadership to a team of currently eight people. The location of this position can either be based in Vienna, Austria or in Rotkreuz, Switzerland. In this position you will report directly to the Country Manager Austria & Switzerland.

The main focus of your role & responsibility is to develop and implement our sales strategy based on growth and innovation for Austrian and Swiss markets.  


What your main tasks are:

  • Sales and profit responsibility for the defined area based on agreed forecasts
  • Set clear direction, define priorities and challenging goals for your team including sales targets to meet the KPIs with your team
  • Define pricing strategy relative to market value of products and services
  • Drive tender processes
  • Provide visible leadership to your sales team to ensure achievement of sales and personal growth goals
  • Working in the field with all levels of sales personnel and customers
  • Professional Key Account Management
  • Close cooperation with company interfaces, for example Marketing, Customer Service and Commercial


What you should be able to bring along:

  • Master’s degree in business administration or other relevant subjects with focus on sales
  • At least several years of relevant work experience as a sales manager combined with experience in a fast pace growth-oriented business, ideally in larger company structures
  • Several years of relevant work experience in leading sales team
  • Proven track record on successful sales development
  • Proven track record of successfully having brought sales organization back to growth (e.g. turnaround situation)
  • Experience and ideally profound knowledge in med-tech industry, health care industry or similar
  • Good knowledge of the Austrian and Swiss medical device market & re-imbursement systems
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 60% CH, 40% AT)

We offer a market-competitive base salary in line with your qualification, experience and individual competencies. The base pay

according to the Austrian collective agreement is at least EUR 3.425,-- per month on a full time basis.
