We are looking for an IT Support professional who understands the balance between quality and customer satisfaction. You always put the customer at the forefront of what you do and take pride in not just meeting but also exceeding agreed time frames and service levels.  

 

Reporting directly to the IT Manager, the role of the IT Support Officer is to problem shoot and support internal staff members with computer hardware and software application issues. The person is to have excellent PC hardware knowledge (laptops, desktops & tablet devices), general software application knowledge (MS Office 365 suite, web browsers, cloud storage, etc), strong knowledge of networking protocols and solutions, VPN and remote desktop support, and knowledge of Apple iOS mobile devices.

 

The IT Support Person will also assist the IT manager in PC hardware deployments throughout multiple sites, be involved in IT projects in ANZ, and be the point of contact for IT support in ANZ.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Maintain the IT asset register (allocation to users, serial numbers, configurations) 
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues - diagnosing and repairing 
  • Troubleshoot software application faults & issues
  • Provide support and resolve VPN connection faults to remote users
  • Provide solutions to Microsoft OneDrive cloud storage queries
  • Re-image laptops and desktops with Coloplast SOE images    
  • Setup and configure new laptops and Apple mobile devices 
  • Provide support and guidance to Microsoft Teams application and general support to other Virtual meeting applications 
  • Maintain user accounts in Windows server Active Directory
  • Applying patches to Windows 10 operating system
  • Problem shoot and resolve office networking issues (data patching, TCP/IP protocols)
  • Configure hardware printers, docking stations, user workstations
  • Configure software applications to Coloplast standards
  • Provide timely and accurate IT information to users
  • Processing Invoices
  • Talking users through a series of actions to resolve their problem
  • Managing multiple cases at one time

Skills and Work Experience

  • Degree in Computer science or Information Technology 
  • Certification in an IT industry course or equivalent
  • Strong Multi-tasking skills
  • ITIL knowledge is desirable 
  • Experience managing remote working environments
  • Knowledge in how CRM systems function
  • Technically skilled in IT
  • Prior experience in tech support, desktop support, or similar role
