Who you are: 

Coloplast ANZ is undergoing an exciting period of growth and transformation, and the Finance Manager role is critical to our success. 

 

You will be part of a High performing Business Support team and be responsible for leading and developing a small finance team. 

 

A key focus of this role will be centered around cost optimisation to ensure subsidiary maximises our profitability

Drive Results through:

  • Responsible for month end and year end closing in accordance with global deadlines 
  • Monthly reporting and analysis, including review of balance sheet schedules and reconciliations
  • Monthly cash flow forecasting
  • Long term and short term budgeting and forecasting 
  • Maintenance of internal controls for financial reporting in accordance with global processes
  • Preparation of financial statements for Australia and New Zealand 
  • Oversee preparation of tax and statutory obligations (tax returns, GST, FBT, transfer pricing documentation) for Australia and New Zealand in conjunction with the tax consultants and corporate tax and compliance team
  • Co-ordination of the external audit in accordance with global deadlines 
  • Implement local and global process automation initiatives 
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions
  • Manage a small team
  • Ad hoc projects 

The Successful Candidate:

  • Adaptability - our business environment & internal process are rapidly evolving & ability to quickly adapt to these changes is essential.
  • Drive continuous improvement
  • Keen eye for numbers and attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent 
  • CA/CPA qualified 
  • Knowledge and experience of tax filing requirements, generally accepted accounting practices
  • Knowledge & Experience of S&OP
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently and independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Confidence to apply independent judgment and creativity to urgent matters & queries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • 2 -3 years leadership experience
  • Financial reporting and analysis
  • JD Edwards Enterprise One experience (advantageous) 
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently and independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Confidence to apply independent judgment and creativity to urgent matters & queries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in a similar industry or within the Health space is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint skills.
