Coloplast Wound Care is in an exciting period of growth in the UK.  We are looking for an outstanding sales person to join our team and continue our success.

The role of the Territory Manager is to:

  • Achieve increased sales and market share of Biatain Silicone, Alprep Pad and the Coloplast wound care portfolio in the community sector, with a focus on District Nurses, Practice Nurses, Podiatry, Tissue Viability Nurses and Medicines Management. In addition, the role will drive an increased sales and market share in the acute sector through relationships with Procurement, Supplies, Tissue Viability Nurses, Ward Managers/Nurses and Specialist Departments.
  • Maintain and defend sales within territory.
  • Achieve the activity and sales targets specified for this role ensuring highly effective use of our Great Partnership Selling model.
  • Promote and differentiate our company through the total value proposition offered, demonstrated for instance by audits and education.
  • Work with the Regional Sales Manager and Healthcare Partnership Manager to execute the business plan.  Plan for regular business review meetings through analysing sales data and metrics. Chair the meeting and be an active player in driving the effectiveness of the review and ensuring follow up on actions.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of competitor activity within the industry and territory, anticipating issues and opportunities, responding in a timely manner as required.
  • Ensure accurate administration and record keeping, for example, maintenance of Salesforce.com, progress notes and customer follow up.
  • Ensure a great working knowledge of the NHS Landscape in terms of Health Care Providers and ICSs within territory, understanding their priorities.

 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Clinical experience is desirable
  • Sales experience is essential
  • Professional, accountable and disciplined
  • Experience of working within wound care or medical device sector
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the NHS environment and customers
  • You must be passionate about understanding HCP and patient needs and delivering solutions through partnerships
  • Ambitious and resilient, will go the extra mile, will achieve results
  • Business acumen; demonstrates good commercial awareness
  • Excellent communicator; communicates with impact
  • Confident decision maker
  • Entrepreneurial; seeks opportunities, has a solution-orientated approach
  • Excellent analytical skills. Communicates data in clear and concise format
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; curious and a great team player
