Supply Chain System Supporter 

We have a brand new position in our Supply Chain Support Department (reporting directly to Global Supply Chain in Denmark) located in Tatabánya/Coloplast PDC.

Our new colleague, the Supply Chain System Supporter will be member of our Customer Service Team.

The overall purpose of this role is to maintain and support our Supply Chain systems, hereby securing quality in plans and planning cycles.


19 colleagues work in 2 Teams of our Supply Chain Support: Customer Service and Shipping.

8 experienced colleagues deal with Customer Service cases and 10 colleauges of the Shipping Team are responsible for managing most of the European transports and transactions.


Our new position will directly be reporting to our Customer Service Manager. 

Some travel days are expected both locally or outside Hungary also. 

Your new job

The position's main focus is on 1st and 2nd line OMP+ support, as well as building the bridge between OMP+ and E1 by maintaining master data, interfaces etc.

The role is global, meaning all production facilities and HQ functions in Coloplast shall be supported.

Your primary tasks are to:

  • Perform 1st and 2nd line support to global OMP+ users via the POB system, ensure all support issues are logged as support cases in the POB system by users
  • Ensure documentation of 1st and 2nd line support is created and in place
  • Drive the monthly OMP+ planning cycle process, including interface surveillance and communication of planning steps to stakeholders
  • Ensure planning process parameters (e.g. order sizes/MOQ’s, intermediates) and master data are continuously updated and in control
  • Support planners, mainly in HU, travel to sites when needed
  • Prepare training material and perform training of OMP+ users
  • Participate actively as part of the APS team, e.g. in weekly meetings, 3rd level support case resolution, consultancy, developments etc.
  • Participate in weekly planner meetings (with HU planners)
  • Feedback user inputs to the APS team for evaluation and prioritization of new OMP initiatives and developments
  • Create and support implementations of RFC’s
  • Support and participate in OMP+ projects where needed
  • Maintain master data in E1 and OMP+
  • Operational support and maintenance of additional Supply Chain systems, mainly E1


Your qualifications:

  • System proficient with strong technical interest
  • Can critically challenge solutions, processes and people
  • Has a global mindset, i.e. understands the benefits of global standards vs. local customizations
  • Persistent with a structured approach
  • Service minded with a good sense of humour
  • Fluent in Hungarian and English both written and verbal
  • Strong communicator
  • Outgoing and comfortable in engaging with many different stakeholders
  • OMP/APS and Supply Chain/planning experience and knowledge is a plus, but not a requirement
  • As a minimum holds a bachelor’s degree
