Your new role

In Corporate Procurement, we are looking for a strong and dynamic profile to join us as a Strategic Buyer. This position will be based at one of our largest manufacturing sites in Tatabánya, Hungary.

In this role, you will work closely with teams from our manufacturing sites in Nyírbátor, Costa Rica, and Portugal, as well as with the global Procurement team in Denmark and the Global Engineering team.

You will be responsible for driving sourcing projects, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing them in close cooperation with internal stakeholders and suppliers, supported by our global procurement and engineering functions.

Your primary tasks and responsibilities

• Manage Supplier Relationship Management and sourcing activities for indirect materials and services (mainly production machinery)
• Collaborate closely with local and global teams across Coloplast sites to optimize spend related to indirect materials, services, and CAPEX
• Lead global sourcing projects in various categories (primarily production machinery)
• Facilitate and lead supplier negotiations
• Continuously evaluate and challenge the existing supplier portfolio by identifying and qualifying new regional suppliers

Your qualifications and personality

• College or university degree
• Minimum 5 years of relevant business experience, preferably in Procurement (or in a technical/engineering field)
• Strong negotiation skills with solid commercial understanding and the ability to identify sourcing opportunities both globally and regionally
• Technical insight is an advantage
• Ability to build and maintain a collaborative environment with key stakeholders
• Proven capability to work cross-functionally and across geographies with stakeholders at all levels
• Target-oriented, proactive, and detail-focused, with willingness to travel
• Fluent in spoken and written English
