About the Department

The position is placed in our Supplier Quality Team in Tatabánya, Hungary, but with direct reporting to Head of Supplier Quality Management in the headquarters in Denmark. Therefore, you will work closely with the Supplier Quality Management team consisting of 8 colleagues in Denmark and 3 colleagues in Hungary.

Together, we monitor, evaluate and work with suppliers and perform audits. We also assist in product innovation projects as well as product lifecycle optimisation and assist at production sites in supplier situations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Approval of suppliers: Assessing supplier quality capabilities, visiting suppliers, peerforming audits, handling quality agreements, preparing reports
  • Supplier monitoring and evaluation: providing data and analysis to Management about supplier performance
  • Managing the suppliers that deliver directly to Coloplast production sites
  • Responsible for negotiations with suppliers and stakeholder management between production sites and suppliers
  • Review and approve product specifications for supplier use
  • Support manufacturing sites, e.g. with supplier quality issues, in handling supplier non-conformance or conducting root cause analysis
  • Ensuring compliance to national/international quality standards
  • Participating in innovation, improvement and cost-reduction projects
  • Expected to travel up to 20 days a year, mostly within Europe.

Requirements

  • Relevant university/college degree (e.g. engineering, pharma, quality)
  • Quality experience – preferably from the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
  • Auditor experience is an advantage
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Hungarian
  • Analytical reasoning, structured problem solving and strong methodological approach
