About the Role
Are you passionate about quality, innovation, and making a real difference in the medical device industry? Would you enjoy working in a collaborative, project-based environment dealing with adhesive mixing and raw materials?
We are looking for a Material and Process Specialist to become the quintessence of our production team.
In this role, you will be responsible for researching and understanding the correlation between our raw materials and the manufacturing processes and ensuring to meet product specifications and quality standards.
Your position will be unique and critical to our production, as dealing with the adhesives is the core-competence of Coloplast.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigating and understanding the manufacturing processes and used raw materials, as well as troubleshooting issues and improving process efficiency.
- Performing physical tests on materials to evaluate their properties, analyse the data, and document findings to ensure quality and compliance Ensure deliverables are in alignment with internal procedures and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Coloplat globally
- Be part of upcoming local and global project, and support them with the relevant learnings from the daily operation
- Documenting all testing activities, process data, and material findings in written reports and maintaining process documentation for reference
Education & Experience
- Degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or another Life Science field
- Might have experience in the medical device or life sciences industry with a good understanding of design control and regulatory requirements.
- Strong foundation in material science or chemistry and manufacturing processes, and quality control.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and documentation skills – you enjoy working with detail and structure.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Collaborative mindset – able to listen, engage with others, and build networks across teams.
- Curious and technically minded – eager to understand how products work and how to improve them.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
