Process Development Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Process Development Engineer to join our Process Development Team at PDC. This postponement center is the largest logistics center of Coloplast with 470 employees and part of our footprint together with our manufacturing sites at Tatabánya.

The job

 

Your work as a successful Process Development Engineer would require being open-minded to change processes in order to reach a higher level of efficiency. You will also have to participate in several projects to support our operational activities both in PDC and in manufacturing sites. Close cooperation with our internal and external stakeholders to maintain a smooth working at our value streams. A key element in the job is to be reliable and be able to work precisely and independently to sustain a continuous improvement. To be successful in this job, you need to have a good sense of understanding and you also have to be supportive and empathic.

 

Your primary tasks are:

 

  • Leading and coordinating continuous improvement actions (Kaizen)
  • Taking part in preparing projects and creating project plans
  • Professional support to our internal stakeholders in process improvement related tasks
  • Maintain employee idea program with professional guidance from lean point of view
  • Keeping project status meetings on a regular basis
  • Dealing with administrative task in connection with projects
  • Facilitating lean trainings to our employees about the importance of lean

 

Your qualifications and skills:

 

  • University or college degree
  • Fluent Hungarian and advanced level English
  • Advanced level knowledge of using Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • A lean approach acquired at another production or logistical company and experience in the use of lean tools
  • Being able to work independently and proactively
  • Holistic way of thinking and being keen on to learn new things rapidly
