About the department
You will join CPBC’s sustainability area in Global Operations department, which supports Coloplast Group with reporting, governance and regulatory preparedness across markets. We work with reports and data for reporting purposes and translate external requirements into clear direction for the business and help raise sustainability maturity across products, value chains, and functions.
About the job
As our Sustainability Specialist, you will drive and coordinate sustainability governance, regulatory monitoring, and key reporting activities across the Coloplast Group. You will be a group-level focal point for sustainability legislation developments, LTI reporting, ESG ratings submissions, and competitor benchmarking - working closely with global and local stakeholders across R&D, Procurement, Manufacturing, Market Access, and other teams.
Your responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret current and upcoming EU and national sustainability regulations (e.g., CSRD, ESPR, PPWR, EPR, product and chemicals requirements in collaboration with Biosafety & Chemical Compliance) and assess their relevance for Coloplast products and value chains
- Prepare concise internal impact summaries, timelines, and implications for key functions (R&D, Procurement, Manufacturing, Market Access, etc.)
- Maintain a structured regulatory overview and tracking system (applicability, implementation dates, required actions across regions/product categories)
- Support cross-functional alignment through internal briefings, workshops, and coordination with regulatory, quality, and sustainability stakeholders
- Own LTI data and reporting, and coordinate quarterly reviews to ensure accuracy and timely delivery
- Prepare and submit ESG ratings to key platforms (e.g., EcoVadis, Corporate Knights, CDP, UN Global Compact, Statista Climate, MSCI, Sustainalytics)
- Monitor ESG rating methodology updates and evolving service offerings
- Collect, analyze, and present data for annual competitor benchmarking initiatives
- Scope and coordinate benchmarking projects to deliver actionable insights for Coloplast’s sustainability strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field
- Experience in sustainability reporting, ESG frameworks, or regulatory compliance
- Fluent in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI)
- Strong ability to interpret and synthesize complex regulatory and market information into actionable insights
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Experience working with cross-functional and international teams
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
