About the department

Our Global Operations team is the digital backbone of Coloplast’s value chain. We manage core applications supporting worldwide operations - from procurement of raw materials to delivery to end customer - including ERP, MES, WMS, LIMS, and MCPMS,  ensuring that our manufacturing and supply chain run efficiently, reliably, and in full compliance. About the job

Coloplast is embarking on an exciting journey to implement a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), creating a structured, automated, and future‑proof environment for managing laboratory data. We are looking for a Senior LIMS Specialist who will play a key role in the platform's initial implementation – from understanding requirements and supporting solution design, to contributing to configuration, testing, training, and technical documentation to ensure a stable, compliant solution. Following the implementation phase, you will transition into the role of Technical Solution Owner (TSO), taking responsibility for the platform and working closely with the Global Process Owner (GPO) to oversee daily operations and drive continuous improvements as business needs evolve.

Your responsibilities

The role spans platform’s implementation and its long-term operational ownership, with key activities such as:

• Leading technical activities related to LIMS implementation projects, including scoping, design decisions, rollout, and vendor coordination
• Owning the LIMS platform as the global technical point of contact, managing communication between business stakeholders and the external vendor
• Configuring and maintaining the LabVantage LIMS platform, ensuring stability and optimal performance
• Driving system development through the RFC process, including evaluation, specification, testing, and documentation
• Monitoring platform performance and ensure proper system support for global users
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between LIMS and other systems (e.g., ERP)
• Handling support cases and managing recurring issues, including escalation and follow-up with vendors
• Maintaining system documentation and ensuring compliance with validation, change management, and audit requirements
• Supporting knowledge sharing, training initiatives, and train-the-trainer activities for business users
• Participating in operational processes related to deployment, monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement of LIMS operations

What you bring

You are an excellent communicator who thrives in the interface between business and IT, and you are comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You understand user needs and are able to translate technical concepts into clear, accessible language.

Moreover, we imagine you have:

• Hands-on experience working with LIMS platforms, ideally LabVantage
• A solid understanding of software development, testing, and related lifecycle processes
• Strong business acumen, delivering high-quality results with a customer- and cost-focused approach
• A good understanding of design and user‑experience principles
• Problem solving mindset with ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Fluency in both spoken and written English
