About the Department
The Procurement Performance Management (PPM) team focuses on introducing and maintaining key metrics in the procurement area to maximize value, efficiency, and cost management throughout the procurement cycle. PPM fulfills management reporting requirements and supports the Global Procurement Organization with insights that enhance decision-making processes and enable performance dialogues.
The position is located in our Szczecin office and is part of the Global Operations Finance organization, which supports operations in improving agendas and reporting financials related to Global Operations. About the Job
We are seeking a motivated Procurement Business Analyst to join our PPM team within the Global Operations Finance organization. This global role involves close collaboration with Corporate Procurement (Direct and Indirect) and all Coloplast subsidiaries and production sites.
In this position, you will manage procurement performance management systems and processes and create dynamic dashboards and visualizations using Power BI to drive data-driven decision-making within our organization. You will support Corporate Procurement and other business units in developing robust reporting systems utilizing tools such as Power BI, SharePoint, and other external software solutions. Your role will require you to work collaboratively with category managers and stakeholders to address their reporting needs, increase knowledge sharing, and ensure data transparency while presenting impactful insights for decision-making in Procurement and Finance. Responsibilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in reporting and analysis.
• Create dynamic dashboards and visualizations using Power BI.
• Perform business case calculations to assess the financial viability and potential return on investment of project initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze relevant financial data for informed project appraisal and business case calculations.
• Present findings and recommendations on project appraisal and business case calculations to management for decision-making and strategic planning.
• Support the development and implementation of cost reduction initiatives.
• Engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders to gather necessary data for reporting and analysis.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Actively participate in team meetings and provide input on strategic initiatives.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to procurement and spend management.
• Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements in all activities.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested by management.
• Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth in the field of procurement and spend management
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or a related field, with proven professional experience in finance
• Demonstrated experience in financial analysis and budget management.
• Proficiency in various ERP and BI systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex functions.
• Experience in high-volume data analysis and process documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in leading and identifying process improvements.
• English fluency, both in writing and speaking.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and DAX
