Coloplast Business Centre (CPBC) in Szczecin, Poland, is one of the largest sites within the Coloplast Group, experiencing sustainable and successful growth over the past 15 years. Our organization consists of several departments that provide global support in strategic processes, employing approx. 800 people.
 

About the department

 

The local People & Culture team consists of 17 great colleagues providing a variety of HR services, Business Partnering and administration support to the whole CPBC organization. Our scope covers wide HR expertise, Talent Acquisition & Management, EB, Learning & Development, Facility & Front Desk Coordination. The P&C Director role is being supported by 2 Team Leaders (direct reports). 

 

About the job

 

We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Director with a strong business acumen to lead and elevate our CPBC organization and People & Culture team. This role requires a leader who excels in relationship-building across the organization and with our global colleagues. Your general responsibilities

 

The People & Culture Director role encompasses both strategic and operational responsibilities:

 

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy aligned with the Business Centre’s strategic direction and the Global HQ people initiatives.
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable operational plans, playing an integral role in the core CPBC leadership team by providing strategic insights and driving people innovation.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily people operations, ensuring alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Serve as a strategic partner to CPBC leaders, providing insights on people data and metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and acting as the primary point of contact on people related matters.
  • Integrate diversity and inclusion metrics into the organization's operational framework.

This role offers significant visibility and autonomy, with the expectation to shape a best-in-class People function. As an active member of the Global People & Culture forum, you will contribute to the company-wide People direction.

 

Daily responsibilities

 

  • Lead and manage the local People team, covering people administration, facilities, global company cars, documentation, payroll, people analytics, and contracts. Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance on people processes.
  • Develop and implement people and company’s strategies, policies, and programs that align with organizational goals.
  • Enhance and optimize talent acquisition processes to support the company’s growth.
  • Manage P&C team workload, ensuring resource allocation, data integrity, and accuracy in HR operations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CPBC leadership team on people matters, including employee relations, talent management, performance management, compensation & benefits.
  • Ensure succession planning, talent development and oversee the people, salary, and recruitment budgets.
  • Collaborate with the Global People & Culture Leadership team to identify key priorities for short- and long-term planning.
  • Continuously improve local people processes by adopting best practices, automation, and scalability.

 

Requirements 

 

  • 5+ years of experience leading large teams with a comprehensive understanding of people processes and systems
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR processes
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal as it is our corporate language
  • University degree in a relevant field; MBA preferred
  • Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to serve as a role model
  • Proven ability to build and nurture relationships across the business
  • Strategic mindset with a track record of successful execution
  • Business development mindset with a willingness to learn new areas
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and management skills
  • Ability to challenge leaders at all levels and work effectively in an international environment
