About the department

 

The job is located at Coloplast Business Center in Szczecin and has a strong link to the Global IT department at the headquarter in Humlebæk, Denmark. When joining Coloplast, you will become part of a very energetic and ambitious Digital Service team that delivers digital customer offerings to support the key strategic goals for the entire Coloplast business. Our team is technically responsible for both new development and ongoing maintenance of mobile apps the customer-facing websites (70+) and related cloud services.
 

About the job

 

As a Mobile App Specialist, you will be a key technical driver, ensuring technical requirements, processes and overall deliverables from external partners on the ambitious mobile app roadmap for Digital Services. Furthermore, you will work in close collaboration with other Digital Specialists in daily operations to bridge the gap between Coloplast business requirements and the technologies/solutions provided by our external partners.

 

The actual app development is outsourced, and you will not be doing much development work yourself, instead, you be in charge of setting the technical corner flags and quality expectations together with our Mobile Apps Solution Owner.
 

Your responsibilities
 

  • Assist our Mobile Apps Solution Owner and oversee the entire mobile app development process from initial specifications through design and testing to implementation and documentation
  • Coordinate and guide external app development partners
  • Provide technical guidance for business colleagues on all digital initiatives involving mobile experiences
  • Be responsible for functional test, QA and deployment processes using Azure DevOps and Azure App Center
  • Implement automation throughout the mobile app delivery and support chain
  • Act as 2nd level support on mobile app solutions and responsible for 3rd level escalation
  • Ensure best practice adoption and adherence to app solution design principles

 

Requirements 
 

  • Have 4-5 years of experience with mobile app solution design and development on iOS/Android with a cloud backend
  • Have experience with SCRUM/Agile development, and if you have worked with software development in regulated industries, this is an added bonus
  • Have broad knowledge of mobile development frameworks and technologies, infrastructure e.g. (Azure) cloud, app/API monitoring, security, identity & access management
  • Have worked with test automation and DevOps practices
  • Broad general knowledge of release & deployment processes, translation & localization management, performance monitoring, etc.
  • Speak and write English effortlessly
  • A “Go-Do” mindset
