About the department 

DD&IT (Digital, Data, and IT) just redesigned the organization to be fit for the next major focus area and even more maturing our way of working by introducing even more best practices for financials controls, SW&Leasing process, analysis, reporting and benchmark into a Digital, Data and IT context. This is the idea behind establishing the new functional area under the Project Management & Enterprise Architecture department, the Finance and Performance Excellence. 

 

About the job 

The DD&IT Controller role at Coloplast focuses on acting as a key partner and primary point of contact for the newly established Finance and Performance Excellence team, which is responsible for financial control and performance reporting in the Digital, Data, and IT areas. Key responsibilities include managing leasing contract controls, overseeing DD&IT operating expenses (OPEX), and ensuring objectives are met on time. This role plays a vital part in fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture, aligning efforts with Project Management & Enterprise Architecture (PMEA) objectives, and driving improvements in cost management and transparency for DD&IT leadership team. 


Your responsibilities 

  • Establish and execute cost management processes for DD&IT by developing model to ensure cost transparency and standardizing cost allocation methods. 
  • Lead the integration of tools and processes, automating cost management activities to improve efficiency and scalability 
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for DD&IT services and infrastructure by building and maintaining a detailed cost repository for budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis. 
  • Present insights on cost drivers and cost optimization opportunities to provide strategic recommendations to the DD&IT Leadership Team. 
  • Drive DD&IT financial KPIs to ensure alignment with organizational goals 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement best practices, driving improvements in IT cost management and transparency 
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation in cost reporting, financial planning, and IT asset governance
  • Facilitate information sharing and collaboration among PMEA employees in Poland, hosting regular meetings to ensure alignment across the PMEA group 
  • Foster and mentor the Finance and Performance Excellence team by setting clear goals, monitoring performance, and ensuring the timely delivery of key objectives 


Requirements  

  • 4–5 years of proven experience in IT controlling and contract management, including exposure to global contractual administration 
  • Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience combining IT and finance areas 
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and partnership skills 
  • Ability to analyze and structure complex issues effectively 
  • Some experience leading small teams will be an asset 
  • Experience working in both ITIL-driven and Agile support organizations
