About the department
Coloplast's global IT infrastructure team within Digital, Data & IT organization is responsible for managing the foundation of Coloplast's data, compute, storage, and data protection. We deliver IT infrastructure platforms and application delivery through an international team primarily based in Szczecin, Poland. Reliability and stability are key priorities for us, which means we work with leading technologies on a global scale in partnership with companies like VMware, Microsoft, Citrix, and Dell.
About the job
As a new Cloud Architect you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing an organization's cloud strategy. This includes cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, cloud management and monitoring. In addition, you will ensure that all cloud solutions adhere to industry best practices in security, cost management, and efficiency, as well as align with the business objectives. Occasional business travel, up to 10 days per year, may be required.
Your responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the overall cloud strategy for operations, including private, public, and hybrid cloud environments ensuring a flexible infrastructure that can utilize both on-prem resources as well as public hyperscalers
• Design cloud infrastructure and application architecture that is scalable, secure, and cost-efficient
• Guide business projects that will use public cloud resources and select the appropriate cloud service (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Plan and lead cloud migration initiatives
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of cloud solutions
• Implement cloud cost optimization strategies to ensure the organization makes the most efficient use of its resources
Requirements
We expect you to have at least 5 years of experience from a global organization in cloud architecture, data center operations or related IT roles. You should also have solid background in cloud migration, infrastructure management, and cloud-native application development. Since we work as One IT globally, fluent English is essential.
More specifically, we imagine that you have:
• Proficiency in cloud security, compliance, and data protection.
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (compute, storage, network)
• Strong scripting skills (e.g. PowerShell, Bash) and knowledge of automation tools
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• MS AZ-305 Certification
• Proven experience with AWS or Google Cloud will be an asset

• Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and on different levels of organization
• Aptitude for effortlessly organizing and maintaining a clear digital structure
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
• Leadership and mentoring skills to guide junior team members
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
