About the department
Our MDM Applications Department is growing and therefore we are looking for new colleagues to help with the support of the additional applications (Veeva and Polarion) in a specialist role.
Our mission is to partner actively with our stakeholders to provide innovative and technically sustainable solutions in order to support the Coloplast Agenda in terms of growth and sustainability as well as the overall values of Coloplast.
We are part of the Business Support Applications area within the Global IT Organization. 

 
About the job
We are searching for an Application Specialist that can help us with application configurations and migrations, has programming experience (eg.: JavaScript, Python, VBA) and advanced Excel skills.

It is the ideal position if you want to work with a combination of programming, application configuration, process development, requirements analysis, and architecture.


As an Application Specialist, you take part in IT implementation projects. 
You will support with incident and change request handling and you will also have the following tasks:
•    Screen, evaluate and handle change requests
•    Ensure that documentation requirements are met
•    Prioritise the different development requests and challenge the business on their needs, beginning by creating minimum viable solutions
•    Translate business needs into technical solutions and configure these solutions together with the team 
•    Collaborate with software vendors, discussing technical matters, assigning tasks/deadlines and ensuring the quality of deliveries and compliance with our procedures and standards


Your onboarding will be based on virtual class room training, side by side training and hands on mentoring. You will also need to participate in E-learning to understand the rules and regulations the industry must follow. 

 
Your profile
The right candidate has a background within IT preferably with computer science or similar. You can be a graduate or have a couple of years of experience.

To succeed in this position, you will need great communication and presentation skills, enabling you to make your ideas heard across an international organisation and the cross-border team. Moreover, you have a strong methodological understanding and the ability to think both conceptually and analytically, so you can facilitate new IT technologies and designs.

 

It is important that:
•    You are experienced with JavaScript and have a programming mindset
•    You have a solid understanding of IT and architecture
•    You speak and write English on a professional level
•    You have advanced excel skills and experience with data migration projects (it will be an advantage)

Furthermore, it is an advantage, if you have knowledge from the life science industry and understand the rules and regulations of the industry.

 
Requirements:
•    Relevant background within IT
•    Experience with Polarion will be an advantage
•    Experience with Veeva will be an advantage
•    Experience with cloud-based systems, knowledge on APIs, message requests via HTTP protocol
•    Minimum 2 years working with application configuration
•    Experience with Active Directory
•    Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Excel super user level, including macros, VBA
•    Experience in an international organization, i.e., with working cross border teams
•    Preferably experience with configuration and IT validation activities
•    Experience with functional support for GxP critical system the life science industry  
•    Ability to travel (internationally) up to 20 days a year
