Coloplast Business Centre, located in San Pedro, San José, Costa Rica, is part of the global Coloplast Business Centre (CPBC) organization under Business Support. The Costa Rica site is strategically designed to support our business operations in North America. CPBC Costa Rica works with CPBC in Szczecin, Poland that is one of the largest Coloplast sites worldwide (800+ employees). Our organization includes multiple departments supporting Coloplast globally in sales, production, distribution, IT, marketing, HR, and finance processes.

 

 

The role:

 

The Data Analyst will support business stakeholders by developing reports and applying analytical techniques to uncover actionable insights. This role will be responsible for creating and managing reports to help guide team productivity, order fulfillment and other performance metrics. This role will also challenge the status quo by identifying data trends and patterns to inform process optimizations that will increase overall efficiency in the way our teams operate. The data analyst role will support several business functions including but not limited to Order Fulfillment, Revenue Cycle Management, Marketing and Outside Sales.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide data and insights for our operational teams to work efficiently and continuously improve performance.
  • Manage incoming ad-hoc requests by assessing urgency, and prioritizing requests based on business value and impact.
  • Develop and maintain analytical tools and applications including Power Apps, Power BI and Power Automate to provide actionable insights for operational teams.
  • Perform data enrichment tasks and maintain data quality standards by implementing regular data audits and validation processes.
  • Identify and define marketing campaign segments and target groups in CRM and other systems.
  • Analyze impact and effectiveness of marketing campaigns including product launches and automated engagement campaigns.
  • Provide analytical support in ad hoc projects and strategy development.
  • Analyze and refine existing workflows to enhance efficiency and system scalability.
  • Research and implement new tools, frameworks, or techniques to elevate the team's capabilities.
  • Provide coverage for requests from other analysts’ covered functions as needed.
  • Adhere to strict healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, to ensure data privacy and security.

 

 

Requirements:

  • University student in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the role of Data Analyst.
  • Experience in the medical devices or healthcare sector is desirable (not mandatory).
  • Proven experience with T-SQL.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools, preferably Power BI.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence Visualization tools, preferably Power BI.
  • Excel, including Power Query, Power Pivot, and advanced formulas.
  • Familiarity with Agile Development concepts, preferably exposure to Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical outputs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work successfully as an individual and team contributor.
  • English level: 85%.
