Our Wound Care division is growing, and with this expansion we are searching for a dedicated Sales Training Manager to support our Field and Office based Sales teams to deliver Sales Excellence.

The purpose of this position is to evolve and embed sales excellence through our culture of coaching and innovative tools and processes to support and develop our sales teams to perform at their best, supporting the delivery of our Annual Business Plan.


Our goal is to have the most skilled, competent and accomplished industry-leading sales force in our markets, aligned with our Next Generation Sales model.


Key responsibilities:


  • Design, plan and implement transformation for a digitally enabled sales team, including transition into Salesforce driven processes
  • Delivery of high-quality ITC for new hires, overseeing their development from day 1 to probation sign-off after 6 months
  • Design and execution of sales training sessions for National Sales Meetings and Regional Sales Meetings, ensuring all sales colleagues receive an equally high-quality product
  • In consultation with Global and NSM, assesses training needs for all Sales Leaders and team members
  • Collaborate with Global Sales Excellence and Digital Marketing to prepare best-in-class digital tools, utilising Showpad functionality and other relevant innovation
  • Work closely with Head of Marketing & Marketing Team on marketing messaging and strategy and design the annual plan accordingly
  • Be a credible influencer to Global Sales Excellence supporting the design and planning of workshops at Global HQ for plans that affect the UK
  • Lead UK design of annual recertification of all skills for all sales personnel, in line with Global strategy
  • Proactively looks for opportunities to improve selling skills, developing and building specific in-field training programmes that are delivered when needed


Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:


  • Proven experience and success in sales, followed by sales training experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry
  • Deep understanding of the sales call process (GPS) & strong business acumen
  • Understands the principles and ethos of adult learning and is an expert coach and trainer
  • Facilitation and training delivery experience (preferred)
  • Experience of developing training materials and adult learning (preferred)
  • Able to adapt to different styles for both training delivery and stakeholder management
  • Strong product knowledge with experience of working with clinical and medical data
  • Degree or other equivalent higher education (preferred)
  • Fluent in written and verbal English
  • Full UK driving licence & geographically mobile; this role will cover the whole of UK & Ireland
