Senior Market Manager, Continence Care

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a growing global company with a market leading sales and marketing operation in the UK & Ireland, that has a strong record for product and service innovation. Marketing plays a critical role in our success, ensuring that we have the best products, campaigns, and long-term strategy to effectively meet the needs of our customers and consumers.  

As Senior Market Manager for Intermittent Self Catheterisation (ISC) you will play a key role in the Continence Care marketing team and be responsible for defining, driving and implementing the growth strategy for our largest and most valuable product portfolio. You will report to the Head of Continence Care Marketing and will be part of a team of talented individuals all focussed on making a difference for people with intimate healthcare needs.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the work to shape our strategic direction for ISC in the UK
  • Setting and driving the strategy for our Intermittent Self Catheterisation (ISC) portfolio
  • Preparing for the launch of innovative solutions to improve the standard of care. Shaping and leading the local operational launch plans, ensuring infrastructure is in place to maximise the opportunity.
  • Driving market and competitor understanding and tracking performance to generate and share insights, and inputting into forecasting, budgets, and business planning.
  • Developing and implementing campaigns to drive brand awareness
  • Developing strategies for how to drive consumer awareness and empower patients to better manage their bladder together
  • Developing and driving an increased understanding of patient populations
  • Liaising with and inputting to local Innovation Manager and Global Product Development and working with our Global Marketing team to influence global initiatives
  • Developing effective working relationships and become a trusted partner with all levels of the sales teams.  Preparing and presenting campaigns and materials at national and regional sales events.
  • Working with the Medical Marketing Manager Identifying opportunities to provide gold standard bladder care for more patients suffering from neurological conditions such as MS and spinal cord injury
  • Inputting into business planning
  • Tracking and analysing performance, market and competitor intelligence and taking appropriate action
  • Synthesising complex information from various sources and present clear ideas and plans to senior level management.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and enthusiastic marketer who can take a strategic and operational view of the market and identify growth opportunities. You will possess strong leadership skills, and have qualities including confidence, integrity, and self-awareness, to bring out the best in yourself and others. In addition to this, you will have:


  • BSc/MSc in business, marketing, or health sciences or equivalent experience
  • Proven success in domestic or regional marketing role
  • Clear understanding of the UK health care system
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Be able to develop strong networks, connecting easily with your stakeholders recognising the importance of strong collaboration
  • Have a proactive and resilient approach to work
  • Highly self-aware and proactive to gain feedback from others
  • Agile – positively responding to and anticipating opportunities, flexing your approach as needed
  • Take accountability for delivering results against our ambitious plans
  • Utilise data and insights to make impactful decisions
  • Be highly innovative with a strive to improve and develop
  • Full UK Driving Licence
