Commercial Analyst 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Analyst  with Power BI expertise and a passion for commercial analysis. The role holder will be able to work flexibly within the role, spending time working at both our Head office in Peterborough, as well as from home. The role

This is an expert role, reporting into the Commercial Excellence Director for the UK/I region. 

 

The main duties of the role include;

  • Power BI Report design and development, support, maintenance and governance
  • Translate business leadersrequirements into required reports and dashboards
  • Identify investment opportunities for senior business leaders through understanding of data insights
  • Perform impact analysis for requested changes or additions to data structures and reports
  • Perform data analysis and modelling for development and maintenance projects
  • Improve regional usage of PowerBI and become a trusted senior advisor on use of Power Bi, analytics, and business model innovation
  • Promote sharing of best practice across the division and engage with broader Global Commercial Excellence teams

 

Our ideal candidate will have;

 

  • 3-5 years of Analyst experience in a consumer driven or consultancy organisation
  • Qualification to degree level, preferably in an analytical, mathematical or computing-related field
  • Expert experience of Data Visualisation in Power BI
  • Experience of data integration, relational databases and data warehousing
  • SQL knowledge
  • DAX fluency
  • A healthy appetite for solving business problems and will question and challenge when appropriate 
  • Strong drive, and is self-motivated and passionate about their work
  • A team work ethic and is willing to support others to achieve their goals
