Coloplast is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Operational Excellence Coordinator to support our UK Distribution operations. This part-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys collaborating across teams, and is committed to delivering high-quality training and process improvements.
About the Role
As Operational Excellence Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in onboarding, training, and process documentation across our UK Distribution Centre. Reporting to the Operational Excellence Manager, you’ll lead initiatives that enhance operational standards, support audits, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
This is an office based role with collaboration with on-site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage onboarding processes and induction sessions for new starters
- Coordinate shop floor training, identify skill gaps, and maintain accurate training records
- Deliver engaging process-related training and support SME development
- Own and manage process training documentation
- Local contact for global mandatory training
- Support training elements for internal and external audits
- Conduct process audits and drive improvements based on findings
- Design and implement local processes aligned with global standards
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in training coordination, ideally in a warehouse or operational setting
- Creating and managing process documentation and revision control skills
- Excellent communication and coaching abilities
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies (desirable)
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 & 13485 requirements (desirable)
