EMIS Service & Implementation Manager

Location:

Peterborough, GB

Job Family:  Marketing
Country/Region:  United Kingdom

We’re excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Clinical Systems & Digital Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping how we implement and optimise EMIS Web across our NHS partnerships. This is a chance to step into a highly impactful position where technology, service improvement and patient outcomes meet, helping us deliver outstanding solutions that truly make a difference for customers, clinicians and the individuals who rely on our services every day.

The Role –

In this role, you will act as our organisation’s EMIS Web Subject Matter Expert, becoming the go‑to authority for both internal colleagues and NHS customers. You’ll lead EMIS implementations end-to-end, from discovery and configuration through to go‑live and optimisation, ensuring every solution is safe, compliant and aligned with how primary care teams work in practice. You’ll be hands-on with system workflows, templates, reporting and data quality, while also bringing operational insight to improve processes, strengthen service delivery and enhance customer experience. A key part of your work will involve supporting tenders and NHS partnerships, translating real‑world needs into practical solutions that can be implemented sustainably across GP practices, PCNs and ICBs.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who brings significant experience as an advanced EMIS Web user or established SME, with a strong track record of leading configuration changes, workflow improvements or system implementations. You’ll be confident managing projects end-to-end, engaging stakeholders, running workshops and supporting customers through change. A solid understanding of primary care operations, including appointment flows, document handling, coding, summarising, recalls and QOF/contract reporting will be essential. Experience with System One will be an advantage. You’ll also be familiar with information governance, safe clinical system use and the importance of robust change control. Above all, you will be a clear communicator who can turn complex requirements into simple, workable solutions and build trusted relationships with clinicians, managers and operational teams.
