Master Planner

Master Planner

Your primary tasks/responsibilities:

  • creating volume plans based on demand and capacity 2-24 month horizon,
  • adjust and evaluate the master plan progress,
  • resolve conflicts with respect to line and material availability/capacity,
  • responsible for proclaim the volume forecast of the site,
  • responsible for maintaining the OMP+ settings to make reliable plans,
  • report the stock level trends on monthly bases to Sales&Operations Planning Department,
  • Key user of OMP+ every planning level,
  • close collaboration with the Advanced Planning Team,
  • update the knowledge of Value Stream Planners and Material Planners in planning,
  • challenge the Value Stream Managers and the VSP’s to produce the optimal plan,
  • initiate necessary steps to fulfil logistic goals and meet transfer deadlines,
  • follow up on IVS (launch) and SVS (ugrade or discontinuation) projects’ to be able to plan them right,
  • manage masterdata maintenance between the site and MD department,
  • cooperate with other sites Master Planners to improve the process,
  • participate in launch and transfer coordination meetings.


Your qualifications:

  • college/ university degree (technical, economics), master or bachelor degree,
  • fluent in written and verbal English,
  • minimum 2 years planning experience,
  • good understanding of databases,
  • experienced user of IT systems (e.g. Excel and E1),
  • analytical skills, and strong Excel capabilities,
  • good communication skills,
  • complex way of thinking with a proactive mindset,
  • ability to think “out of the box” if necessary.
