Job Summary: 

This Marketing Manager position will have responsibility for Skin Care product management and programs to drive growth.  This will include developing strategic and tactical marketing plans that align with our key business drivers.  This Marketing Manager represents the Skin Care business and brand globally.


The Marketing Manager works closely with the Marketing team to develop and implement marketing programs in the US and that can also be leveraged in Canada.  The role also collaborates with the Sales Team, Regulatory, Legal and outside agencies.  This position is based in Minneapolis, MN. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning and execution of marketing programs to drive new business as well as sales and customer retention
  • Manage the life cycle of products in the skin care portfolio.  This includes strategic recommendations for new products and revisions to existing products.
  • Work with supply chain to assist with demand and supply planning and product phase in / phase out, as necessary.
  • Recommend and launch new products into the US market
  • Work closely with the Canadian Marketing Manager to implement appropriate programs and campaigns in the Canadian market.
  • Develop in-depth customer and market knowledge.  Communicate market needs and opportunities.  Provide new product forecasts.
  • Stay current on market standards and practices and understand impact on Coloplast product line and business.
  • Assist in developing and delivering training programs and sales tools to support the sales force in response to customer and competitive needs.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to develop materials to support program launches, campaigns, and sales support.
  • Understand the market, our products and programs to ensure marketing programs and materials are relevant and effective for the US market.
  • Champion the brands within the skin care portfolio by ensuring consistent branding and defining value propositions.
  • Develop annual marketing plan and associated budget. Manage assigned budget.


Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications or other relevant field of study
  • MBA preferred
  • 4+ years successful experience in marketing with direct responsibility and accountability for managing a product portfolio
  • 2+ years working in healthcare preferred
  • Experience working with a direct field sales team
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate ability to work across functions to prioritize and drive strategic objectives
  • Ability to navigate the complexity of a global, matrix organization with competing priorities
  • Demonstrate ability to influence and negotiate both internally and externally
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and support multiple projects, prioritize & drive results
