Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst will be a trusted business advisor for the Interventional Urology (IU) team including financial forecasting, reporting, modeling and continuous process improvement. In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for financial planning and analysis for the IU business. This will include: legal spending and analysis, modeling and profitability analysis and special projects.  An ideal candidate will have natural curiosity, be motivated by an ever-changing industry, keep up with a growth-orientated company and have strong Excel, PowerPoint and communication skills.

 

Major Areas of Accountability

  • Manage the consolidated rolling financial forecasting and monthly processes including developing, analyzing, and communicating results
  • Develop, analyze, and effectively communicate profitability metrics to senior leadership
  • Partner with the business development team to develop long-term financials, profitability analysis and planning and forecasting to incorporate analysis into strategic plans.
  • Primary point of contact for legal department to manage legal spending
  • Analyze, review and communicate monthly financial reports to key stakeholders
  • Develop, assess and present long-range financial modeling to senior leadership team and business partners
  • Develop cross-functional partnerships to support IU business objectives and targets
  • Perform ad hoc financial business partner projects and analysis as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • Accounting or Finance Degree is required
  • MBA degree is preferred
  • 5+ years financial analysis experience
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills
  • Advanced PowerPoint and presentation skills, at all levels of the organization
  • Experience with developing reports and tools
  • Accountable and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on a team
  • Ability to effectively partner with all levels (Entry level positions to Senior Management) and multiple departments to achieve objectives
  • Ability to travel intermittently
