Senior Contracts Analyst

The Senior Contract Analyst is responsible for managing customer contracts for all Kerecis customers to optimize our top and bottom line in partnership with the Kerecis sales team and other Kerecis stakeholders. The responsibility covers all the steps from analyzing the initial contract proposal through completion of the contract, including record keeping and notifications. As the Senior Contract Analyst, you will work in a talented and dynamic team environment with frequent exposure to the Kerecis leadership team.
Major Areas of Accountability
Contract Management
- Collaborate with the Kerecis Sales team, Finance, and other stakeholders to establish contractual relationships with Group Purchasing Organization (GPO), Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) and individual hospital customers, while upholding critical business initiatives and considering holistic business impacts. This includes managing and driving the contract from initial contract request, through obtaining necessary stakeholder inputs and approvals, leading the negotiation of legal terms, to managing execution and document management procedures regarding executed contracts
- This will include: Sales Agreements, Rebate Agreements, Consignment Agreements, GPO and IDN agreements, Sales Agent agreements; and related processes
- Analyze contract terms and conditions to determine compliance and assess corporate risk, and provide context and/or recommendations when acquiring and documenting appropriate stakeholder approvals
- Serve as point of contact for Kerecis internal stakeholders on contract negotiation and other contractual matters, including status of contracts in process and tracking of contracts in the Lotus Notes E-ticketing system
- Build relationships with key internal Kerecis stakeholders, including Legal, Finance, Marketing, Regulatory, and Operations to facilitate understanding, proactively influence timely decision-making, and streamline execution of contractual terms & conditions
- Assist with the negotiation of customer contracts on business terms and conditions when requested by the Kerecis sales team
- Ensure policy and legal requirements are met while implementing contracts: notifications, documentation, price file uploads, record management, systems-related updates, and other follow up items as needed
Contract Process Education
- Evaluate and challenge standard contract processes to make process improvements or support solutions, and proactively solicit stakeholder input
- Educate internal business partners on Kerecis contract strategy, as well as on the request, review, and overall contracting process
- Translate detailed contract language into concise, clear communications in order to help internal stakeholders or external customers better understand contract related terms including pricing
- Independently design or improve upon processes & tools to help Kerecis facilitate accurate workflow management, contract price loading, data management, and record retention
- Provide timely responses to internal and external inquiries

Travel
- The position will require occasional travel, <10% of the time.
Basic Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent
- Minimum of five years’ experience working with contracts, negotiations, or legal department
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical device industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements is preferred •
- Excellent understanding of corporate policies and procedures, coupled with ability to independently identify required improvements to established policies

- Nuanced understanding of the business needs and an appreciation of financial contractual implications
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and complete complex tasks efficiently and independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confidence to apply independent judgment and creativity to complex contract resolution issues
- Ability to independently negotiate legal terms in customer sales agreements
- Comfortable with effectively varying communication styles to all levels within the organization
- Proven track record with consistent high performance both academically and professionally
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with managing multiple initiatives / projects
- Technical proficiency with the following tools / systems: Excel, Outlook, Enterprise One / One World, DocuSign
- A team player with the ability to use strong verbal reasoning skills to analyze elements of contract language

- Competitive Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $74,000 - $110,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses and/or incentives.
