Product Manager - Market Development 

Coloplast has an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join our growing team!


This position is responsible for creation and implementation of market development strategies and tactics in support of the Interventional Urology product portfolios.  This includes development of consumer marketing plans and downstream initiatives that increase demand and adoption of defined products by patients, and working with cross-functional teams to execute on these initiatives.


Major Areas of Accountability:

  • Leverages understanding of how to reach and communicate with consumers to enhance our patient marketing strategy and determine the best marketing approach for end users of our products through all stages of their journey.
  • Manages all marketing and business aspects of defined therapy areas relating to the assigned product lines including: patient marketing plans, marketing literature, budgets, and ongoing promotion campaigns
  • Understands the patient decision making process and journey to inform strategy and identify opportunities for better education.
  • Creates and implements comprehensive marketing tools and programs using digital and traditional means to promote the advantages of Coloplast’s Men’s Health treatment options for patients in need
  • Collaborates with other Interventional Urology business units and functions to refine and continuously improve programs, marketing collateral and other documentation
  • Collaborates with marketing partners to ensure messaging alignment, share data and tactical campaign results, and to build informed and effective best practices for patient marketing
  • Identifies additional market opportunities for category growth and expansion, leveraging market research and voice of customer to assess market opportunities and trends
  • Utilizes project management skills to develop and execute campaigns that include all elements of the marketing communications mix.
  • Coordinates with internal partners and external vendors to execute omnichannel patient awareness and conversion programs
  • Works with appropriate functional areas to establish performance metrics for patient marketing programs
  • Manages the document control process for downstream marketing materials
  • Interprets and translates scientific clinical data into commercial implications
  • Develops marketing plans and activities for responsible therapy areas
  • Supports surgeon workshops, forums, and training events
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills related to interfacing and establishing relationships with customers and key influencers to ensure that marketing decisions are customer-driven
  • Leverages field experience to provide feedback for continuous system improvement
  • Conforms with Coloplast Code of Conduct and all local Compliance Standards
  • Conforms with Coloplast Q/EHS Policy
  • Other duties as assigned


Essential Qualifications:

  • BA/BS required with business or marketing emphasis.  MBA preferred
  • 3+ years relevant experience related to medical device/ health care
  • Experience marketing to patients
  • Understanding of medical device/urology/ implantable devices helpful
  • Excellent presentation skills and professional image essential, with strong verbal and written skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
