Pricing and Payments Associate

You will be a member of our North American Pricing team.  Your role has two primary functions including the execution of payments across customer segments and creating compelling pricing/incentive proposals with field sales for assigned business areas.  In addition, you will participate in strategic pricing projects and work to optimize existing processes.

 

Major Areas of Accountability

  • Analyze and model pricing scenarios for Integrated Delivery Network customers (IDNs), dealers and distributors for Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
  • Devise customer incentives with the sales team that are in line with business objectives
  • Calculate monthly, quarterly, and annual payments for customers including national Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO), Health Systems (IDN), and Key Accounts as indicated by contractual commitments
  • Build and operate financial models to report, assess, and communicate customer payments
  • Optimize existing process for customer payments to reduce total process time and tighten financial accuracy
  • Work closely with the field sales team on payment approvals and investigate payment discrepancies
  • Monitor pricing team inbox; research and problem solve to resolve questions from field sales team and customers

Basic Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance or equivalent
  • 0-2 years' experience executing complex analyses, developing and implementing reports, and presenting complex topics to audiences across functional areas
  • Strong critical thinking, investigative and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently
  • Works independently with a high degree of accuracy to meet deadlines
  • Ability to assess opportunities, recommend actions and create best practices
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office platform products (Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the healthcare or medical device industry
  • Experience with Power BI and familiarity with AI tools
  • Experience collaborating with field sales and marketing

  • Competitive Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $58,000 - $72,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses and/or incentives.
