The successful candidate will join a small team of approximately 10 high caliber marketing professionals that enjoy working and collaborating together from our Minneapolis office on West River Road in a hybrid work setting. Job fuction summary
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to work on a variety of internal and external events as part of an ambitious marketing team. This position will work closely with our Marketing Managers across North America (US and Canada) to plan and deliver our marketing messages to a variety of audiences. The main job functions for this role include:
- Work closely with our Marketing Managers to help develop our annual Marketing plan by recommending a meaningful and relevant event schedule to support our commercial priorities
- Responsibility for planning and delivering our sales meetings, including venue selection, accommodations, food & beverage, entertainment, communication, on-site support, and budget and contract management
- Responsibility for our annual tradeshow plan, including show selection, strategy, booth design, drawing audiences, literature & samples, accommodations, booth logistics, budget, and on-site support
- Generate reports on event performance, including evaluation forms, audience profiles, cost-per-contact, lead generation, and other performance indicators to evaluate return and make strategic recommendations
- Plan and organize our annual incentive trip for our sales team, including location selection, logistics, program, budget, and on-site support
- Plan and deliver webinars and live speaker events, including platform selection, speaker preparation, content management, and live support with FAQ sessions
- Logistics support for selected regional shows, advisory boards, focus groups, or other sales and marketing events
In addition to frequent interactions with our Marketing and Marketing Communications team, this position will work closely with our business leaders, sales teams, third party agencies, and their counterparts in other divisions.
Essential qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Events, Communications, or other relevant field of study
- 3+ Years successful experience in Events Management
- Experience with managing external vendors
- Core skills to include strong communication, eye for detail, organizational, and project management skills
- Proven ability to lead, manage, and prioritize multiple projects
- Willingness to join a team who values listening, mutual respect, and collaboration
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and willing and able to travel across US/Canada (20-30%)
