Marketing Communications Manager

The Marketing Communications Manager serves as an integral part of the marketing team supporting the development and implementation of key marketing communications strategies. While partnering with the marketing team, they will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing programs, materials, and tradeshow marketing for Women’s Health. The Women’s Health business within Interventional Urology is focused on delivering innovative solutions and education for women suffering with Urinary Incontinence and Pelvic Organ Prolapse.     



Major Areas of Accountability

  • Develops and manages the omnichannel communication strategy to align with business objectives and growth expectations
  • Manages outside vendors/agencies in the creative development of advertising and marketing campaigns (advertising agency/design firm, video production company, animation agency, illustrators, photographers, etc.) to include management of the marketing communications budget
  • Working cross-functionally, oversees all content strategy, including the development and distribution of digital and traditional advertising campaigns, print and web-based publications, social media, and emerging opportunities Serves as a Super User for PromoMats; provides guidance and training on how to use the system, facilitates routing, approval and editing of all projects, adhering to Legal and Regulatory processes and standards. 
  • Works with Senior Manager Global Brand Management and Marketing Operations ensuring that all new materials and photography are following Coloplast Corporate Visual Identity.
  • Leads development and implementation of best practices for marketing communications with the MarCom specialists in MH and EndoUrology
  • Conforms with Coloplast Code of Conduct and all local Compliance Standards
  • Conforms with Coloplast Q/EHS Policy
  • Other duties as assigned


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing communications
  • Experience working in a regulated environment, i.e., healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical preferred
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30%,

  • Proven ability to lead, manage and/ or support multiple interdisciplinary/ cross-functional projects to include projects with outside vendors or agencies, gain consensus/approval where needed, prioritize & drive strategic objectives effectively

  • Demonstrates excellent oral & written communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate, facilitate & advocate
  • Demonstrates a continuous desire to understand, learn and implement industry best practices and trends.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and AdobePro
  • Experience and knowledge of SharePoint
