EHS Intern (Part-time - 20 hours per week)

  • You will be responsible for supporting the development and administration of EHS programs, policies, procedures, and training.

 

Major Areas of Accountability

  • Maintain EHS data and build routine reports.
  • Ensure records for Incidents, Non-Conformities, and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) are appropriately managed and closed.
  • Perform root cause analysis on safety related incidents.
  • Complete EHS related inspections.
  • Conduct EHS risk assessments.
  • Develop and deliver EHS training.
  • Support EHS projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Candidate must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program
  • Or Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Sciences/Engineering, Risk Management, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Training or experience with OSHA/EPA standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
