Key Account Manager Interventional Urology

The job

Overall, you will be responsible for growing the business of the Interventional Urology Business Unit in Spain.

This role is customer facing, and you will work closely with the IU Sales Team to drive sales opportunities, as well as seeking new business opportunities.

There will also be a requirement to support and lead on the Tendering process where required.

Mandatory to be based in Barcelona or Madrid.


Major Areas of accountability:

  • Defines & supports the development of the "Value Proposition"
  • Lead Key Account Management activities at country level
  • Negotiate with clinic and / or hospital groups, and with key accounts
  • Manage tenders for groups of clinics and / or hospitals
  • Work on the change of our business approach to ensure we become a LT partner for our customers
  • Optimize our Go-to-market model – Applies tools and innovative solutions to countries to drive sales and optimize costs. Examples: use of health economics data, create a value proposition for Coloplast, non-product related services.
  • Actively participates in sales, high-stakes negotiations and key contacts in the country.
  • Ensures the competitive intelligence in the groups of clinics and hospitals



Qualifications & Personal Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in life science, business or marketing. Master is an asset.
  • Demonstrable at least two-year Key Account Management Experience - Advanced influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent English and Spanish language communication skills- written and verbal-.
  • Strong analytical skills and high levels of curiosity, with the ability to turn data into insight
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and networking skills, with the ability to undertake robust forecasting
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to connect and effectively collaborate across a diverse group of business stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment
  • Strong project management and organisational skills required.
