Coloplast has a new opportunity available in Lithia Springs, GA on 1st Shift for a Warehouse Superuser to join our growing team.

As a Warehouse Superuser, you will be responsible for working with the Operations team to provide support for associates with technical issues in the warehouse. To include oversight of RF equipment, handle all IT related issues and support control desk daily.

Major Areas of Accountability

  • Responsible for new hire assignment and oversight of all equipment.
  • Update visual management TV’s.
  • Work to resolve IT issues at the facility as the local “liaison” for corporate IT.
  • Resolve associate issues related to RF equipment and all technical issues at the facility.
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Keep all Master Data current
  • Ensure that the item dimensions for all items are kept updated and product is properly slotted with in the facility, which includes a fixed pick location for each item.
  • Fill in IT tracking sheet.
  • Be active member of the superuser community, participate in all calls, training and testing as required.
  • Provide support to additional facilities in North America as required.
  • Exhibit and practice positive communications and team building skills with associates to ensure a consistently professional environment.
  • Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor.
  • Functions as a team member within the department.
  • Ensure full understanding and operation of the control desk, including all functions to open and close the day
  • Answer any questions the associates may have about their picking and receiving functions.
  • Can troubleshoot and provide resolution to issues that may arise
  • Be fully capable and able to perform shipping and receiving functions and fill in as needed
  • Understand all replenishment needs to ensure all inventory is available for associates to complete orders
  • Have full responsibility to lock up and secure DC after day end process is complete
  • Safely operate lift truck, pallet rider, W.A.V. (work assist vehicle), and/or pallet jack
  • Proper handling of special instructions/orders
  • Ensure a clean distribution environment for the health and safety of employees
  • Answer emails and any communication professionally and in a timely manner with outside stakeholders to provide optimal service
  • Other duties as assigned.


Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Three years (3) IT experience working in support or customer service role
  • Previous distribution experience that includes 2 of the following, Samples, Receiving and Shipping.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. 
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. 
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain tasks to others.
  • Plan own work activities and plan.
  • Work with minimal supervision; under pressure and on several tasks at the same time.
  • Frequently communicate with departmental personnel to keep departments aware of ongoing IT assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in IT or help desk support.
  • JD Edwards knowledge is preferred.
  • Knowledge of pick/pack operation.
  • Prior TMS experience
  • Prior Continuous Improvement experience
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
