Medical Affairs Advisor - permanent contract

 

 

Major Areas of Accountability

 

Under the supervision of the Head of Medical Affairs, the Medical Affairs Advisor will have the following responsibilities:

  • Act as Medical Affairs Advisor for our products line in accordance with Ethics, Coloplast Corporate instructions, ISO 13485, ISO14155 and GCP, MDR guidelines and regulatory requirements

  • Participate in clinical operations and clinical support for several products/ products concepts of the portfolio

  • Ensure that any operation related to products/product concepts are documented in Clinical Documentation Plans and in line with defined strategies

  • Work in project development teams under direction of the appointed Head of Medical Affairs

  • Develop when needed and manage clinical trials in line with Post-Market Clinical Follow-up, regulatory, marketing and health economic strategies   

  • Organize and participate in medico-marketing activities

  • Be a trustful ambassador of Coloplast Medical expertise with external stakeholders (customers, experts, Authorities...)

 

Required skills and experience

 

  • Medical Doctor or Pharmacist with >5 years experience within clinical development (medical device, pharma, biotech), including strategic clinical activities

  • Knowledge of guidelines and directives within clinical research and experience with clinical project management

  • Understanding of the overall clinical process for all types of medical devices

  • Ability to handle (clinical) negotiations with Subsidiaries and internal Coloplast departments

  • Analytical and Synthesis skills with strong planning and prioritization abilities

  • Ability to work effectively in an international and multidisciplinary team environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Very fluent in English and French

  • Quality and result oriented and Ethics committed
