Global Product Manager Endourology 

Description/Job summary

 

The SD Product Manager is responsible for downstream product marketing strategy for the Single Device (SD) portfolio

He/she leads SD portfolio management for the region – maximizes sales and profitability thanks to outstanding marketing plan and strong collaboration with countries

It will be the voice of the region Europe towards the Upstream/Global marketing to influence product life cycle management and portfolio strategy

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Collects and analyses market information
  • Translates the general product plan into clear detailed product go to market strategy
  • Drives the market introduction of new products; Leads and owns commercialization launch plan (Regional product messaging, positioning and content development, channel strategy, contracting strategy, promotional strategy, training strategy, communication strategy, regional pricing strategy, tradeshow strategy and regional KOL management) 
  • Performs post market surveillance of products to ensure successful commercialization
  • Is responsible of operational support with subsidiaries regarding the SD portfolio
  • Drives the communication strategy plan; Lead communication with commercial team and external stakeholders for product plans
  • Provides input to product portfolio strategy
  • Provides demand forecast to supply chain
  • Animates countries to best understand customers’ needs and how to engage with them to be able to address their needs.
  • Recommends communication strategy (including digital communication)
  • Challenges countries in their marketing execution, facilitate best practices sharing and implement European campaigns to drive efficiency in the region
  • Animates KOL strategy for the region
  • Owns the regional marketing plan (Annual Business Plan)
    • Conducts analysis on channels, and provides recommendations to management
    • Partners with commercial teams to develop channel strategy and contracting strategy
    • Owns and develops promotional strategy and works with Communication department
    • Works with physician education on professional education plan
    • Works with sales training on sales training plan
    • Works with communications department on communication and tradeshow strategy

 

  • Drives the regional pricing strategy
    • Manages prices within corridors and tender strategy

 

  • Develops, maintains and grows relationships with key customers and key opinion leaders in region
  • Collaborates with Upstream/Global marketing to share market intelligence, to identify unmet needs, to monitor competition
  • Interprets and translates scientific clinical data into commercial implications with the support of the clinical team
  • Shares best practices of commercial strategy, regional content, campaigns, and market development initiatives
  • Collaborates effectively with country marketing and with Upstream marketing

 

  • Respects rules and procedures in connection with Quality, Environment, Health and Safety (QEHS)

 

Job qualifications

 

  • Master’s degree or equivalent with medical or business background
  • 3 years experience in a similar function
  • Deep knowledge in digital marketing strategy and the implementation
  • Previous marketing experience
  • Respect rules and procedures in connection with Quality, Environment, Health and Safety (QEHS)
