Supplier Quality Manager

You have a strong quality mindset with a keen eye for detail, and we need you to ensure that our suppliers always deliver in accordance with the high standards that our users expect from us. Think you have what it takes? 

From our headquarters in Humlebæk, you will join Supplier Quality Management (SQM). We are a dedicated team of 12 people, with 3 colleagues working from our production sites in Hungary and 9 from those located in Denmark:
Quality-conscious and a natural networker  
As supplier quality manager, you mediate between Coloplast and suppliers. You will act as a one-point-of-contact for our suppliers on all matters of quality. You will also be interfacing with various departments within Coloplast, working closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Global R&D, and others, acting as the natural diplomatic link between the external supplier and your colleagues within Coloplast. 


Your job is to:

  • Negotiate quality contracts with suppliers and ensure compliance with these.
  • Assess quality or implement improvement processes at suppliers
  • Closely support international production sites in supplier non-conformance handling and root cause analysis
  • Participate in projects concerning innovation and life cycle management

Working with suppliers is a lengthy process, and we will usually be in business with them for years. As such, it is important that we choose the right partners from the start. You are the authority on assessing supplier quality, and so you must have both short-term needs and long-term business interests in mind. 

What we are looking for
We believe that you know best how to get the job done. Of course, tasks must be done and deadlines have to be kept, but if you can handle the freedom responsibly, you will have a high degree of influence on how you structure your day. 
Stakeholder management is a key part of your role. Acting as the link between internal and external actors, you must be naturally outgoing and a strong communicator. 

  • You have experience working with suppliers either from a quality assurance role or eg. procurement
  • You have quality assessment experience, preferably within the medical device or pharmaceutical industries
  • You have a relevant education, BSc/MSc in engineering/pharmacy or equivalent
