Student assistant – ideation and early innovation in R&D at Coloplast

Curious about how problems, user needs, and ideas turn into real solutions? Interested in hands-on experience with innovation in a global MedTech company – and helping shape what we work on next? Then this is your chance to join our R&D Scoping team as a student assistant.
We are strengthening our innovation funnel to ensure a focused, high-quality, and strategically aligned pipeline. As part of this, you will support idea management – helping capture, structure, and move forward the right ideas at the right time.

About the R&D Scoping team
We are an early-stage R&D team dedicated to exploring, shaping, and testing the future of Coloplast.
We work with ideas, concepts, and new solution spaces – turning them into structured opportunities for product development. Our team brings together backgrounds in design, strategy, business, and engineering – a mix of thinkers, doers, and prototype builders.

As our student assistant, you will:
•    Gain hands-on insight into how early-stage innovation works in practice
•    Help turn ideas into tangible concepts
•    Co-manage our ideation platform
•    Support rapid testing and learning

Your daily responsibilities:
You will help ensure that ideas flow smoothly through the innovation process and support the day-to-day work in the Scoping team. This includes:

•    Maintaining our ideation platform (NOSCO) – setting up and managing idea channels, campaigns, and scoping flows
•    Supporting colleagues in using the platform – onboarding, guidance, and troubleshooting
•    Helping plan and run idea campaigns end-to-end – from mobilization and ideation to screening, development, and pitching
•    Contributing to continuous improvement – refining processes, templates, and ways of working
•    Supporting the team broadly with research, analysis, coordination, and ad hoc tasks across projects

Expected qualifications
•    Currently studying within a relevant field (e.g. business, innovation, engineering, or similar)
•    Well-structured with the ability to handle multiple tasks and collaborate with different stakeholders
•    Comfortable working with digital tools and platforms; experience with ideation management or innovation collaboration tools is a plus
•    Interest in innovation, idea development processes, and early-stage product work
•    Strong communication skills and a helpful, service-oriented mindset

Language skills:
•    Fluent written and spoken English
•    Danish is not required

Practical information:
The position is based on-site at Coloplast HQ in Humlebæk, North Zealand, Denmark.
Expected workload is approximately 15–20 hours per week, with flexibility around exams.
